Opening of new Pitch at Oram.

Sunday evening last 6th May 2012 saw the reopening of  the pitch here in the village of Oram. Armagh and Monaghan Senior teams provided the entertainment and a large crowd turned out to witness and enjoy the spectacle.

Yessir people, just one year to lift off as this was one great day.and  Oram Co Monaghan will definitely stage this prestigious event again next year. Not to be missed and entry's are now open!.  “We want to give everyone  the green light to visit – literally. Traditionally, St Patrick’s Day has signalled the start of the tourism season in Oram and this initiative will significantly raise Oram’s profile. Today at Oram we laid to rest our old Mate Seamus McGuinnes. Seamus had not been well recently and he will be missed by all here and around the world as he was quite a travelled man. Glad we met.
